ABOUT ME

Bridgette Brothers, soprano, is based in Berlin, Germany, and originally from Boston, Massachusetts. She is graduate of UMass Boston with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, and current student of Janet Williams-Berndt and Gundula Hintz. Most notably, Ms. Brothers has performed with Lyric Opera Berlin as Mlle. Silberklang, in The Berlin Opera Group's La Boheme in the chorus, with Alltagsoper as Zerlina in Don Giovanni, with MetroWest Opera for both Cendrillon and Carmen, PORTopera in La Fille du Regiment, The Metropolitan Chorale of Brookline, Harbor Choral Arts Society, The English Choir of Berlin, and several episcopal churches in the Boston area as a soloist and section leader. Bridgette was accepted and sang in a masterclass with June Anderson in 2010 while attending Italy Opera Viva, and participated in the 2011 Boston session of Critten Opera Studio. A well-traveled musician, Ms. Brothers has performed in concert throughout the US, Italy, Germany, and the Vatican.

 

In February 2015, Bridgette co-founded Lyric Opera Berlin, an organization in Berlin which offer performance opportunities to professional singers in the area, and connects new audiences with opera in a low-key, accessible environment.
